Circle Time: This is the prime time during our day that we focus on teaching the children new ideas and vocabulary in both English and Spanish. This time will be used to introduce the children to:

  • Colors
  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Shapes
  • The Days & Months of the Year
  • The Weather

Through the use of music and movement the children will expand their thinking and learning skills. The children will have the opportunity to put these skills to use when they share their treasured objects and celebrations during show and tell.

Activities: Using a preschool curriculum and several enhancement programs we are able to build the children’s skills and knowledge, but best of all we have fun. We do this through the use of:

  • Activity Folders
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Books
  • Color & Shape Flash Cards
  • Creative Expressions
  • Finger Plays
  • Manipulative
  • Music
  • Nursery Rhymes
  • Problem Solving
  • Puzzles
  • Vocabulary Words

Centers: During this time children are able to explore and learn through participation in activities such as:

      • Arts & Crafts
      • Building with Blocks
      • Computer Games
      • Cooperative Play
      • House Keeping Fun
      • Manipulative Exploration
      • Music
      • Reading

Naps: We feel that all children require regular rest time. Children will be laid down to rest, usually, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. If your child has a special toy or blanket that helps them relax parents are welcome to allow their child to bring it with them to daycare.

While your child will not be required to take a nap, they will be expected not to bother other children who are sleeping. A television will be left on for older children who do not take naps.
